Meant For The Best
Considering Razer is still new to the mobile phone industry, they manage to refine most of the features very well. After spending over 2 weekends on this phone, it is save to say that the impressive features like 120Hz screen really stands out when you look back at your phone. The Dolby-enhanced speakers which located on the front is impressive too. They sound as if its a standalone Bluetooth speakers out in the market today. It’s sounds powerful and crisp! Damn KICK wan leh, comes with enhancer too!! The Razer Phone 2 also comes with custom cooling to keep your phone from catching fire from over long hours of gaming.
A Built-In Weapon Enhancer
The Razer Phone also packs with their own customization app such as the Chroma and Cortex app. The Chroma App allows you to customize the logo color from a wide choice of 16.8 million hues, plus you can also choose from three different states: breathing (the logo brightness goes up and down, mimicking a breathing effect), static (keeps light on at one brightness) and cycle (cycles through all colors). One thing for sure, the RBG lighting impacts battery performance significantly (the Chroma app allows you to adjust the battery usage from low to high on your preference).
Razer memang living up to its name weh. The screen is razer sharp, with 1440×2560 resolution, 515 pixels per inch. (can be adjust between Full HD or Wide Quad HD). With the ultra smooth scrolling and latency-free gameplay, you can expect a good experience gaming with this phone.
As for gaming, we tested PUBG, Mobile Legends, AOV and you may have already guessed it – they run smooth like baby’s butt! The vapor-chamber cooling system allows heat to spread throughout the phone via a custom vapor chamber, resulting fewer hot spots and greater performance and stability compared to traditional cooling methods.
On the other hand, the Cortex app is to monitor and adjust your gaming features to any of your downloaded games. With three core elements: Featured – where you can browse Razer recommended games, Library – a place where all your installed games stored, and game booster – where you access to the phone’s power management.
Mobile Gaming Powerhouse
The Razer Phone 2’s battery lifespan can be consider as mediocre. As most the RGB backlit eats up roughly 3% on high mode, and on high performance mode for gaming – it can last roughly 3/4 of a day of gaming. Thankfully, Razer Qi charge works wonder as it goes 10% to 100% battery life in the span of an hour or less.
Both cameras are 12MP, with the main camera featuring an f/1.75 aperture lens, while the telephoto lens aperture is f/2.6. It’s pretty decent i must say and it shouldn’t be compare to the latest Apple iPhone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Flagship.
